Hey there lovely people! How are you all doing? I hope you’re all good. I cannot believe we’re halfway thru the year!!! Honestly, where have the days gone by? I really meant to blog more frequently than this haha! But I overestimated my dedication to blog. Honestly, it’s just not one of my priorities the past months. Even reading! I think I’ve only read 10 books so far? It’s because I want to read other more meaningful books. And I’ve never spent so much time devouring the Bible than ever in my 24 years of existence. It’s so good.
So, what can I update you on? If you’re still reading up to this point, I’m assuming you care enough about me rambling about my college experience here in Australia… Arriving in Sydney few months ago, I really didn’t know what to expect. And I really didn’t want to live here. Not that I’m saying I’ll be here for good because I don’t see that happening now. I’m just here to study. But, I have learned to love this beautiful place. I have to admit I haven’t explored much of Sydney yet, in terms of scenery and such. But with shopping malls, I’ve visited a few. hehe. What can I say? They’re my mecca. lol.
In terms of college, I’m really loving it. I think one of my struggles why I’m not writing any posts is that I can’t put to words properly how much I’m experiencing God now. Or what I’ve been learning so far. It’s too much and it overwhelms me everyday. There’s so much I want to write and I feel that if I attempt to write them in one blog post, it won’t be coherent. Haha! So I figure, I must stick to one topic at a time? But if I can summarize it all in one sentence: I’ve learned so much not only knowledge-wise but my faith has never been this on fire. And my love for God and for people has never been so prevalent. 🙂
For the rest of the semester, this is what’s going to happen:
It’ll be Hillsong Conference in 4 weeks! And I am so excited! We were all debriefed it’s going to be stressful if we’re not going to be smart in taking care of our health- all sense of health. I will probably be posting a blog about that later on. Anyway, next week will be our official last week of classes. I’m honestly so sad! It all went so fast! And for the next two weeks after that, it’ll be our Conference Intensive week where we all have to help in whatever area we choose on for conference preparations, then we have some classes too. Looking forward to all of that.
So for now, I leave you with this expectation: We’re calling this month, “the month of miracles”. At the beginning of the year, our senior pastor began the year with our Vision sunday and this year we’re believing it to be a year of unusual miracles. Everyone has different journeys, but we all have the same God. And we all believe that in Him nothing is impossible. I invite you to join us too in believing and praying for God’s revelations, and His unusual miracles be revealed to us and shown in our lives, for the greater glory of His name.
