They thought they had escaped. They were wrong.
After fleeing the Branch with Sam, Cas, and Nick, Anna is learning how to survive in hiding, following Sam's rules:
Don't draw attention to yourself.
Always carry a weapon.
Know your surroundings.
Watch your back.
When memories from Anna's old life begin to resurface—and a figure from her childhood reappears—Anna's loyalties are tested. Is it a Branch set-up, or could it be the reunion Anna has hoped for?
Ultimately, the answers hinge on one question: What was the real reason her memories were erased in the first place?
I didn’t know this was the last book! Or that’s what I got from reading Erased… the ending is a super ending. Like it’s final final. I’m so not making sense right now. You got my point though, right? 🙂
Erased is good and adventurous. I enjoyed it pretty much. Some things that happened in the book is just kind of over the top killing spree much? I didn’t enjoy that violence. But the other action scenes are so good. The beginning was kind of slow though, but it made sense to unravel much of the characters’ past so they can move on with the present.
OMG! I just checked Jennifer Rush’s goodreads page, and Altered series has a THIRD BOOK!!! HOW CAN THAT BE???
Anyway back to Erased. Much is “closed” in the book already. As in we can well rest easy. BUT there’s a last book! UGH. can’t get over still apparently. BUT it’s supposed to be from Nick’s POV and another girl. So I guess Anna and Sam’s story is kinda over over. It was really good while it lasted.
Talking about the book. I don’t know how to feel about how the main cause and purpose of all the things the Branch is and the reasons behind why Sam and the others and also how everything came to the point where they are right now is just because of this petty reason. Well not really petty but it wasn’t enough enough. Well, it is actually, if you think about it. I just wasn’t contented in it. haha! What am I really talking about? I’m so not making any sense. I don’t like to spoil things, but all you have to know is that it’s family issue. And out of that came a lot of complications that’s why they came to where they are today- running from the Branch (the company) and though they’re no longer under the BRanch, but neither are they really living.
Overall, I enjoyed the book. It’s super entertaining and super cool. I would still like to read the last book. Even if there’s not much of Anna and Sam. I like Nick enough. 🙂
