Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) has stars in her eyes. She and her daughter, Minnie, have joined husband Luke in LA—city of herbal smoothies, multimillion-dollar yoga retreats, and the lure of celebrity. Luke is there to help manage the career of famous actress Sage Seymour—and Becky is convinced she is destined to be Sage’s personal stylist, and go from there to every A-list celebrity in Hollywood! But things become complicated when Becky joins the team of Sage’s archrival. How will charming and supportive Luke deal with this conflict? Is it possible that what Becky wants most will end up hurting those she loves most? Shopaholic fans old and new will devour Sophie Kinsella’s newest adventure!

Becky Brandon is probably one my most favorite book characters of all time. like ALL time. She’s the best. And she doesn’t fail to ALWAYS make me laugh, and whenever she does embarrassing, I am embarrassed for her as well.

I’ve been reading the Shopaholic series for forever. And I love the Shopaholic movie so much! It’s my most fave rom com movie!!! I can watch it over and over, I just love Isla Fisher so much! Anyway. I’m so carried away now.

I don’t know there was going to be a 7th book until I saw it was being published. BUT I was nevertheless excited. Whilst this is not my favorite book in the series, but it was still enjoyable. Becky Brandon neé Bloomwood takes Hollywood! She’s as ridiculous as ever and she still has some consumerism (a.k.a. shopaholic) issues going on but I don’t think it was out of hand. Well, most of the time. BUT it’s fun to read about her fiction life because I know a lot of women can relate to her. And it’s so good to read how you think when the last book ended, it’s all good to her blah blah blah, yet life still continues, and she still changes and emerges successful all the time. She gets problems due to her crazy thinking and really funny beliefs which makes me crack up all the time. BUT I do learn from her experiences even if I know it’s fiction. And I don’t really want to give out the story that much because it will lose it’s essence, I will say though that I loved and enjoyed it so much. 🙂 AAAnd I can’t wait to read the next one..which apparently is set in Las Vegas.

I also love Becky! <3 I just saw 2 versions i think of this novel in the National Bookstore, one is smaller and the other one is bigger, of course, lol. Anyway, do you know why is that so? Why there are 2 different published versions of the book? Thanks and hoping for your reply! 🙂
