These are the words written on Tessa Waye’s diary. The diary that ends up with Wick Tate. But Tessa’s just been found . . . dead.
Wick has the right computer-hacking skills for the job, but little interest in this perverse game of hide-and-seek. Until her sister Lily is the next target.
Then Griff, trailer-park boy next door and fellow hacker, shows up, intent on helping Wick. Is a happy ending possible with the threat of Wick’s deadbeat dad returning, the detective hunting him sniffing around Wick instead, and a killer taunting her at every step?
Foster child. Daughter of a felon. Loner hacker girl. Wick has a bad attitude and sarcasm to spare.
But she’s going to find this killer no matter what.
Because it just got personal.
“Find Me” has that emotional, engaging psychological thriller I didn’t expect to enjoy in a YA. Yes, I do read them, but not that frequent. The other YA thriller favorite book I have is the Unbecoming of Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin, and I think I may have found a new one in “Find Me”.
I certainly did not expect much further into the story since I kind of did not feel the beginning. Though I love how the story began, with an already ongoing knowledge that someone is after them and yeah, kind of like we’re in the middle of some hiding or something, that was the impression at least. But you have to stay on in order to know it gets better.
Besides the thrill and mystery in the story, if you all know me, you know I’m a sucker for romance. I love pure romance books for a light read, but I much much appreciate romance mixed with something else. Without potential love stories in books, I don’t find it that interesting. Love makes everything better! 🙂 As the song says, ‘love makes the world go round’. Okay, anyway, Find Me is a really good book, and I just found out it’s a series! So, yey for that! I know it’s not for everyone, but I encourage you guys to go check it out and if you feel it, to go buy it and read it! 🙂
